UnixName

Description:

 baUnixName returns a file name in Unix format.

Platforms:

 Macintosh

Usage:

 Result = baUnixName( File )

Arguments:

String.
The file name to convert in Hfs format.

Returns:

 String.
The converted name, or an empty string if the file doesn’t exist.

Examples:

Director:
hfs = baUnixName( “Mac HD:Data:products.pdf” )

Authorware:
hfs := baUnixName( “Mac HD:Data:products.pdf” )
 

Notes:

The file does not have to exist for this function to work.
